Teacher Field Trip

Teacher field trips to Historic Arkansas are a popular activity and fulfill the Arkansas Department of Education's annual 2-hour Arkansas studies requirement. You will visit historic homes and the 1850s Farmstead, see a living history performance, visit the Hands-on History room, see loan boxes, explore the galleries and receive free materials. Let us know if you need a tailored program. Call for reservations.

  • We can accommodate from 10 to 60 teachers per session.

Annual November Workshop

As part of the annual Arkansas Education Association (AEA) convention, Historic Arkansas Museum offers an on-site Arkansas history workshop, always related to a current exhibit or historic museum house. Workshop description and registration are provided by AEA publications.

In-Service Training at your School

If our schedule permits, we can travel to you for an in-service training. Give us a call.
